Miracles Of Islam : Miracle of the Moon! Almost every Muslim in the world is aware of the fact of moon split[Shakkul Qamar] which occurred 1400 year ago, which is mentioned in a lot of hadith of prophet Mohammad SAS and also mentioned in the Quran, as well as witnessed by many people all around the globe at that time.

There are several hadith narrating the incident for instance in Sahih Al Bukhari
Once a number of polytheists came to the prophet Mohammad SAS and said “If you claim to be a prophet, split the moon which is now in the sky into two parts.”
The holy prophet SAS asked them “if I do so, will you then believe?” and on their answering in the affirmative, he stretched out his had in prayer, or, according to another account, he made a sign to the moon with his forefinger, when instantly the moon became divided in two, one part remaining where it was and the other descending behind the mountain and disappearing; or, according to another account, one half was seem over the mountain and the other half over another mountain; or according to another account, the moon was divided in such that the mount Hira could be seen between the two halves, But the unbelievers said “Mohammad has used magic before us”.

And in the Quran the same incident is mentioned in Sura Qamar Miracle of the Moon
“the Hour draws near; the moon is split, yet whenever the disbelievers see a sign, they turn away and say ‘same old sorcery!’ (Surah Qamar, 54:2-3)

Saudi Prince Turki Bin Saud Alkabir Executed.

On Tuesday Saudi Authorities executed Saudi Prince Turki Bin Saud Al-kabir. The court found him guilty for a murder. According to Saudi State News Agency.

Saudi Prince Turki Bin Saud Al-kabir,

was the first prince executed in the Gulf Kingdom, since 1975.  According to law the family of the victim was offered to take money in return for clemency. But the family refused to take it and insisted for justice.

Adel bin Suleiman bin Abdulkareem Al-Muhaimeed was the name of the victim killed in this incident. The incident took place in al-Thumama region, on the outskirts of Riyadh three years ago.

In a statement, the Interior Ministry said that the death penalty showed that it cared about “security, justice and safety for all,” online site Arab News reported.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud, a member of the royal family, speaking to the New York Times by telephone, said that Saudi Prince Turki Bin Saud Al-Kabir was a member of one of the most important branches of the royal family. “The king has always said that there is no difference in the law between princes and others, and I think that this is clear manifestation of the reality of that fact,” he told the newspaper.

One commentator on Saudi Arabia, who did not wish to be quoted speaking about the prince’s execution, told Newsweek that while Kabir was not in line with Abdulaziz, he was not “from the periphery” and was not “unimportant.”
